How do i clear settings in a track - i.e T1 / T2?

I can clear a pattern or clear a sample but how do I reset the actual settings as when I resample its still got the same messed up settings on the new sound. Is there a reset back to default?

I do it by quickly clearing all the pages, press page button + Play. You could also save your Part in the default state, mess around, resample, reload Part. Maybe there’s other ways that I don’t know about.

I was without the OT for a few weeks and didn’t miss it at all basically. So I thought I’ll trade it for a MnM or A4 when I get it back. Today I got it back, sat down just to check everything works, half an hour later I’m like “I’d be crazy to trade this for anything”

No, that just clears track trigs, the remaing settings are kept. I like the way the 4 does it, press and hold track and press clear. Nice.

I pop over to an unused part and copy a track then return to the original part and paste it over the one I want deleted. That’s my work around anyways.

So is this still the quickest way to do it? I just purchased this OT after using my Digitakt for some time now… I swear this machine is all jacked up … I know its capable but for now every time I even look at it my neck starts to hurt! So I finally figured out how to play extended samples on a track… I was able to hook up the other tracts to my virus to use it in multi mode. .But I ran into the same problem with T1 When the sample plays on it … its all kinds of messed up distorted and jumping around sounding… Same exact settings on T7 the sample plays like normal… After going in and making sure the settings from T7 matched those from T1… its still all foxured. Im wondering where are all the hidden settings that are screwing it up on T1

What are you trying to do? Clearing tracks is pretty easy. Just press buttons underneath the screen along with clear. Maybe take a break if your having neck troubles. That’s what I used to do if I felt overwhelmed.

Oh thanks man… to be honest I haven’t looked at the manual much yet… I been just trying to figure it out with videos and forum posts. I did manage to clear it by copy paste method mentioned above. Thanks for the tip… now I know how to clear them individually.
