I needed to read this thread.
I dove into some modular stuff a few years ago and decided I prefer hardware designed to work the way it does, specifically elektron boxes.
Lately I’ve had the fever for a second OT, and started to think I could ditch my RYTM for modular drums.
After hearing some Plonk and LXR I got to thinking I could have a small modular for minimal percussion and do all the sequencing from the OT’s.
Although I really do love the sounds modular offers, I know it’s not as easy as I wish it to be.
