How are you using your Faderfox?

I have the EC4 and the MX12 that I was planning on using with either my modular or Ableton, but I’m curious if you’re using one of the Faderfox midi control devices with your Elektron gear.

I‘m using a PC4 with my Octatrack. Really opens up the Maschine. Use it for Ableton also to automate things.

I use the UC4 into Blokas MidiHub to control:

  • Many Octatrack things

  • Blooper

  • Mood

  • Some H9 stuff

I haven’t actually looked at the Blokas before. Seen it in passing. Do you like it?

Love it.

I have it doing several things. I added a control-all feature to my OT like the DT has. It’s routing and filtering Midi for various devices. I have 2 H9s and a MorningStar MC6II on my pedalboard, and it does a few routing things between my tabletop and pedalboard.

Rad. I’ll have to check it out. The web interface looks daunting.

It’s a local app that I use. When you think of it one path at a time, it’s fairly straight-forward. Compared to the other options out there like Bomes… Blokas is the dead-simple interface.
