Itā€™s a fight been long coming, or always there and reignited, depending on your perspective. When the country elects its first Black person as president, and when the calls to tax the rich and get off fossil-fuels grow louder, there are people who will stop at nothing to ensure it doesnā€™t go that way.

Itā€™s not yet a terrible day (any day these traitors control the House is a bad day), and I think we avoided the worst (esp at the governor and state secretary level).

many think it was the first black president that caused all of this, but a little known fact is that it was actually the kiss between Uhura and Kirk that is to blameā€¦ people just couldnā€™t take it.

yeah it seems like it has reached a ā€œgoodā€ compromise, where DemĀ“s can still ward off the most archaic of laws from passing and the republicans get enough power to not get its people in to civil war modeā€¦ not gonna lie, its pretty scary and it feels like this is only gonna intensify coming electionsā€¦ thatĀ“s my view looking from the outside atleast. Someone on the inside might have a better perspective!

The Dems have to get their act together and start messaging better. They were lucky today, considering the mid shit they brought this election cycle.

And the right is creeping in Sweden too, no?

the Swedish left has to stop using the racism card and actually start addressing the complaints a large part of the population hasā€¦

the even scarier part which this election cycle highlighted is that there is a islamic salafist party on the rise as wellā€¦ so if the poiticians donĀ“t get their act together we might be facing a fascist party and islamic salafist party being the two biggest parties in the country in 10-20 years, which is truly terrifying.
