Sad news yet another favorite eurorack company is closing its doors at the end of the year the Hexinverter Electronique who makes the Mutant Drum modules I really like a lot. With WMD and Mutable Instruments a sad year to see lot of good modular firms go out of business.

Damn, that is a shame, I fear they won’t be the last either.

it is really bad news bears as I love their modules their Hot Glue mixer is really awesome for modular drums and the drum modules too. Glad I have a few of their modules along with WMD and Mutable Instruments were the things that got me excited about modular synths.

Another small business loss that is such a shame - if you can’t build your products how can you stay in business…

I had a Hexinverter VCNO for a while and it’s a criminally unknown/underrated module - it can make the crunchiest noise you ever heard. It’s a useful utility on its own and additional voice, if you’re into 8-bit stuff it’s killer.

I just picked up a WMD Javelin to add to my Overseer too - along with all the MI stuff my rack is soon going to be like some kind of memorial.

Sadly I think quite a few of our racks will look like memorials.

I’ve got Mindphaser. I was considering selling it recently when Make Noise’s XPO came out, but I’m gonna have to do some soul searching before letting it go, especially if I can’t get a new one.

I love WMD’s overseer. I ended up ordering it after not being able to find MI’s Blades anywhere. I don’t regret that decision at all.

Definitely hope so.
