Help with OT setup using iConnectmidi4+

Hey guys, total Midi Noob here and am way out of my depth. Hopefully ou can help me.
I’ve been having a few strange MIDI issues with the OT and other gear when trying to make them all play nicely together using the ICM4+

I’ve got the Octatrack going into DIN1 IN/OUT
Minitaur MIDI IN connected to DIN2 OUT
OP-1 connected to the USB Host.

I am trying to just sequence the Moog Minitaur and OP-1 using the MIDI tracks on the Octatrack but am doing so unsuccessfully.
I have the Minitaur on Channel 1 and the OP-1 on Channel 2.
The minitaur is unable to respond to midi trigs and sometimes creates random locks on the trigs. When I have it connected directly to the OT it is all good.

The OP-1 on the other hand does respond to the midi trigs but sometimes the OT cycles through tracks when playing (ie the OT will go to Midi track 1, 2, 3 and so on as each bar passes). Note 2, 3 and 4 don’t work (as in i want to trig chords off the OP-1 but only one note is played.

I just left my OT and will look up the MIDI settings and provide a clearer post in the morning. Sorry if this is really convoluted, but I was hoping someone with a similar setup could help me out here!

Have you tried it without the iCM and just plugged MIDI straight into your synths?
That way you might be able to tell if it’s a routing issue in the interface vs. an issue with settings on the OT.

First, read up on what midi notes/cc’s do within the sequencer.

Are you using OP1 as a controller? If so, you may be inadvertently sending an “Active track down A (69)” message.

I’m not too familiar with the OP1. Does it have polyphony settings?

Are you using the autochannel?

Have you loaded up the software for the ICM4+? It is pretty powerful and fairly well laid out for comprehension.

Hey guys, I’ve managed to get them all speaking to each other (needed OT transport receive and clock receive turned off, and autochannel to 11). Thanks for the help!

I’ve now got a weird problem where midi notes on the Octatrack are being interpreted strangely.
Note C4 is a B4 on the Minitaur, and F3 on the OP-1.

I know that both machines are in tune because when I play them using chromatic mode, playing a C from the OT plays a C on them both. Live recording mode is no different (says the trig is a C, but the corresponding different notes come out of the Minitaur and OP-1)
