Help with Octa MIDI legato slide

Hi,

I’m following this video here, trying to get MIDI legato slide working -

The narrator suggests (1:00) that if you have -

a) MIDI note trigs every 1/16 step
b) MIDI note length set to Inf
c) MIDI arp Off
d) MIDI legato slide (Dial B) On

then you should be able to hear slides between all the (overlapping) notes

But it doesn’t work for me - I can hear the notes, adjust their lengths all the way to Inf, but no slides :frowning:

What might I be doing wrong here ?

FWIW I’m driving a modular VCO via a Squarp Hermod MIDI => CV module (could that be the problem ?)

The synth you are using needs to have a portamento/glide function in order for this to work.
