Hi in hoping someone can help point me in the right direction to get this set up so I can use my midi keyboard controller to play my nord rack. 3 via the octatrack which is is slaved to the analog 4 which has the midi keyboard connected to midi in. . my set up currently allows me to use the keyboard to play tracks on the analog 4 and also any Synth I have connected to the cv outs I can also play from the midi keyboard.
I wish I be able to play tracks on the octatracj too from the keyboard on this set up and also through to the nord rack 3 which is connected to the octatrack and I have set up so I can play nord 3 from octatrack chromatic mode no problem but I wld really like to be able to play it from my controller keyboard in this chain?
Is this possible ? If so please point me in the right direction here.

Hi Jamaz,
With some careful setting up of your equipment you should be able to achieve what you want.
I would recommend the following configuration:
Controller MIDI Out to Octatrack MIDI In.
OT MIDI Out to Analog Four MIDI In.
AF MIDI Thru to Nord Rack 3 MIDI In.
Adjust the MIDI channel of the controller keyboard to control the OT’s Auto Channel.
Use the OT to send MIDI clock and transport and maybe Program Change so that it is the master for the AF.
Set the OT’s MIDI sequencer channels to match the channels used by the NR3 and the Auto Channel of the AF.
Set the AF to respond to MIDI clock, transport, and Program Change messages from the OT.
Use the AF to sequence itself and the CV synths.
Hopefully this makes sense to you but let us know if you have other ideas for configurations or would like more advice.
