Help troubleshooting Transfer & Rytm II

I’m trying to update from 10.6 to 1.6.1 and I cannot seem to get the Transfer app to work. I’ve tried legacy mode too and neither seems to reach the Rytm. The Rytm clearly shows up as a device and works great otherwise, and so I know my Mac is speaking to it. I can transmit notes and hear them play, for example.

But the Transfer app will not communicate with the Rytm using the same instrument from AMS that works in Logic.

Ok, so what the heck is going on?

If you are having issues with the Transfer app, try using Sysex Librarian. It worked first try:
