Would any of you guys be able to help me out in figuring out how this patch works? I want to make vowel-ish sounds. I understand the concept of formants and video linked below seems to have created 4 tracks to create those but only the frequency and pitch settings were shared. Been trying to figure out what FM tone settings to use to get the same result for days now and im just stuck.

It might not be FM machines, it might be wavetone. 
The way I read it he’s using filter self-oscillation. I’m away from the DN at the moment though… I’ll try it later.
Update: Yep, WAVETONE does it.
Note: Filter has 100% tracking.
I’m not sure why there’s 1.12 tuning on the WAVETONE 
ignore it… just put a sawtooth and nothing else.
