HELP! MyVolts Ripcord is not working with my Digitakt and powerbank

good evening to all I would like to ask if this powerbank is capable of activating digitone and digitakt?
http://www.baseus.com/product-683?lang=en-us

Yes, using either 2 different cables (USB-A to 12V and USB-C to 12V) with the USB-4 and USB-C connectors (USB connectors 1-3 aren’t suitable), or using only a USB-C to 12V cable and splitting the 12V.
There’s a maximum of 3A with 12V on the USB-C.

if there is a ripcord Aa928ms do you need an extra cable with the specific battery?

There’s probably cheaper versions but something like this should work:

It just has to be USB Power Delivery to 12V, there’s no conversion in the cable.
It does need a USB port capable of 12 Volt of course.

Hi all, reporting again. After the cumbersome effort with MyVolt RipCord, I ordered BirdCord. I have been able to use it without any issues with a single Power Bank. Highly recommended.

So, I finally got a ripcord and plugged it into an Romoss 40+ powerbank which was 35% charged and it stayed on for a few minutes then reverted back to the logo screen. Thankfully it managed to turn back on via a wall socket but now I’m a tad afraid to try it again with the powerbank. I had no issues using the MPC ripcord with this bank but might of not tried when it was under 50% full.

Edit: guess I’ll get a Birdcord! Another $25 out of my pockets…

Maybe just get one one these

My luck it would somehow set something on fire…

Would these two items power DT2?

The barrel size is right on the cord, but I’m not sure if the battery is PD (power delivery) capable. It probably is, but it didn’t say in the description.

Thanks. I did search Amazon for power delivery but you’re right it doesn’t say it. I do have a Anker 26000mah battery that does PD for sure. Will just stick to that.

Congrats on the purchase of the DT2 BTW…

Really appreciate that.

Having a blast. I’ll have to summon a level restraint that if I’m being completely honest—I’ve never possessed—to keep from ordering a few more darth boxes.

Just confirming that DT2 is a get’busy machine anywhere with a simple 12v usbc-2.5mm DC cord ($8) and any PD battery bank as described above.

Thanks for the advice folks :pray:t4:

Did anyone manage to power their DT2 with any of these cables from a MacBook Pro or iPhone USB-C port?

I suppose the MacBook Pro doesn’t output 12V so the best guess would be to use the RipCord or Birdcord with a USB-A to C adapter?

Thank you so much in advance :v:
