My Octatrack is set to this, it goes like this every 10 minutes
Hi,
First, if you have a different compatible power supply, try that. If you have a different memory card try that as well.
If these simple things don’t work, then you’ll need to contact Elektron support and ask for help by logging into your account on the elektron.se website and then submitting a support ticket.
Check the sticker on the bottom of your Octatrack for the manufacture date. You have 3 years of warranty which starts on that date, so hopefully you’re still covered, and service can be scheduled.
Do I think that there is anything else which you can do right now which does not involve opening the device and having some basic knowledge of electronics? No.
Good luck
Minor clarification on length of warranty from the Elektron website:
WARRANTY
Elektron machines come with a three-year warranty, counting from the date of purchase on the original receipt. If the original receipt is not available, the unit is still covered by a three-year factory warranty, counted from the manufacturing date.
True, if there’s a receipt available then the warranty will go from that date. Assuming that there isn’t, then count from the manufacture date.
One other thing you might try which is very basic and simple, is to try the test mode and check for any errors.
Hold down the FUNC key while you power on the machine and it will enter into the startup menu. Follow the prompts to run the error test and see if it comes up with any results. It will be helpful to have this information ready for when you have to communicate with support.
