My goal was to have a Monomachine (with a Machinedrum connected mirroring the patterns) as a master and the Arturia Keystep Pro as a slave to play my 2 polysynths that I’m using in my live setup.
Now I’m afraid it’s not possible to have the Keystep Pro receiving program changes to change patters so that it would follow a song that is being played by the Monomachine.
Am I wrong about this and might this be possible? I couldn’t find any info receiving external Midi control in the Keystep Pro manual, I’m very suprised about that.
Alternatively, could anyone recommend an replacement for the Keystep Pro that would be able to do what I have in mind?
I know I could technically program my polyphonic midi inside the Monomachine but then I don’t have all the great sequencing functionalities in the Keystep Pro such as randomness and off-grid positioning.
