Help me match A4 delay with ValhallaDelay

Guys I’m going crazy over here. I’ve been looking at multiple attachments and PDFs on the forum that explain how to match the analog four delay time in daw, yet it sounds OFF no matter what I do. I have nothing intricate going on and mostly set the delay at 24 on the A4. For the love of God, tell me what is the equivalent of that delay time in a VST such as ValhallaDelay?

Hmm…pretty sure 24 on the A4 is dotted 1/8th delay. Somewhere here in the forum you’ll find a chart with the delay times.

Don’t forget to match your daws tempo to the A4 and you should be good to go.

If you haven’t got it sorted yet, could you post some audio clips? (Wet and dry)

If you’re using 4/4 time signature then to convert dotted 1/8 delay to milliseconds, divide 45000 by the tempo.

eg. for 120BPM, delay time = 45000/120 = 375ms

This, 24 should be the equivalent on the a4. Remember that shuffle on a4 or latency via overbridge could pull you off the grid.
