I used to use a piece of software on Mac that sort of embedded itself into Finder where you can edit samples and create new samples from existing waveforms and save them as new files.
A couple of years ago I used it extensively to grab little one shots from longer samples.
But I’ve lost it and forgotten what it was called.
Thanks no it wasn’t twisted wave. It actually integrated into Finder so if you highlighted a wav file it would just pop up and you could select and edit etc.
I don’t use it all that often but when I want to I always spend a minute or two trying to remember the name . I should probably just load it at startup on my music computer!
