Hi so I’m having some difficulty troubleshooting see as described below
So I have Syntakt acting as master clock sending
Clock transport and program to the digitone keys
The octatrack is receiving and sending the clock transport and program changes from digitone keys
From the octatrack I have midi thru going to my a4 which is recieving data from octa
Im using the octatrack auto channel to control a4 with digitone keys.
Everything seems to run fine I press play things play I hit stop things stop. When I switch patterns everything switches. The problem lies in that all my other devices switch patterns in syn except the a4 which is switching 8 bars after.
I have master steps at 128 on the syntakt octa and digitone as well as a4 but its still switching out of time. What exactly could the problem be. The a4 switches patterns late while the sequencer is running but If I switch patterns while the sequencer is not running and then hit play the switch happens instantly.

64/64 1/2 on 1 track the rest are 64/64 over 1 Master len is 128 and chng is off with x1 run speed
its on per track mode

I theorize the problem might be somewhere in the change message being sent from digitone to octatrack and then octa pushing that forward to a4 like the octa sends the program change late even though it receives and changes on its own just fine.

May be worth it as an experiment (even if that’s not what you want for this project) to try it in pattern mode. Track mode, on the non-master boxes, has been found to be part of the problem on other elektron boxes.
