I’ve got some cash burning in my pocket and am thinking about getting some Heat 
I want to use it to get audio into a new Linux (av linux) computer for editing. Probably a vague question but will this work? And without Overbridge.
Is anyone here using a Linux DAW ?
Bitwig Studio runs like a dream on Linux, just need to install the real-time kernel and Jack audio, which only takes a couple of minutes.
The OS stays out of the way, so things run great. I also just run on Ubuntu, and support is great - You don’t need an AV specific version of linux, most distros have everything already.
