I’m new here. Got my A4 just a few days ago. Great community here and very nice and friendly/helping people. I really appreciate that.
I had a problem with my A4. When it was plugged to my boxes everything sounded fine and when I used my headphones the sound was far away and only got a bit better when I increased the volume. I tried a different pair of headphones but with the same result. I thought it was a faulty A4 until I finally found out, that both headphones where the problem. Both had a cable with a mic and a remote. And that means the plug is different and causes these sound problems. My Bose headphones has a cable that is exchangeable and as soon as I used the cable without remote it sounded perfectly.
So don’t worry if you encounter that problem. It could be your cable.
