Looks like my AR‘s headphone out is broken. The sound comes out low and distorted. If I insert the plug only half way I get clear mono. Any suggestions to fix this without sending the unit to Sweden? It‘s out of warranty unfortunately.
Are you any good soldering?

I managed to build a working Shruthi, so more or less yes. Any clues as to what I‘m looking for? Voltages, etc.?
Oh happy day! Not only did I just take delivery of the OT MK2, I also found out that it’s indeed my cans that are broken 
EDIT: even better, it’s just the spiral cord that’s broken.
Sorry, just needed to share my happiness.
