you could set up the recording trig to replace a sample at every pass of the record trig - or you could use a one shot record trig and occasionally re-arm - or just manually record to that buffer as shown
i really like the concept of using one live capture across all tracks and resampling, especially with something loose like the monotron

When I get round to trying it I think I’ll first try the option of ‘manually record to buffer as shown’, seems more organic for some reason.
I read the manual pretty thoroughly but I’ve had barely 3 hours with OT in past week since and everything that sank in before is kinda flaky again now! Will retread a few chapters next time I’m able to be hands on with OT.
Agreed, one fluid live capture sample that’s shared across all tracks from something like monotron really appeals to me. Glad I stumbled on the video.
