Guitar-ish ambient on OT!

So I’ve been learning how to create some “space” in my music and made this along the way! Really glad how this one turned out. Used just one acoustic guitar sample for the whole piece.

Sounds really nice, I love glitchy guitar stuff, the OT seems so perfect for this kind of thing, anyway very well done

Thanks! Yeah, seeing some youtube vid where someone played live with guitar samples on OT really sold me on it.

reminds me of the morphagene. Really cool.

Thanks! You mean the module from Make Noise? I hope one day to lay my hands on one of their systems. I’ve used their 0-coast extensively on my first album, amazing synthesizer.

Yes! Its brilliant however I neglet mine currently as I need a good field recorder to really get the best out of it. Getting something like a MN SS is probably one of the best electronic synth investments you can get. It can go for miles … as long as you put in the mileage
Never played an ocoast , but I bet it must be fun to wiggle!

Hey, glad you liked it!
Yeah, those monome vids showcasing live sampling with mlr are so inspirational.
Also, this is one of my favorite tracks of all time made by a member of monome community

… oh man, this track is 8 years old, jeez, time really does fly fast

something different
