A question about grooverider or future updates, do you think that audio routing will be available ?
I would like to work with a cue, don’t think it’s possible now ?
Thank you !

What’s the best way to file a feature request? I haven’t been able to easily find Jim’s email listed anywhere, which makes me think that’s not the right avenue.
I like how there are several sets of phaser effects, split between mono and stereo. I’d like to see mono versions of flanger. I know I can use the stereo image insert effect right after, but that takes up two slots.
email is actualy the best way.
i initially contacted with him via email, and voila — we’ve got Launchpad X & Layunchpad Mini integration.
GrooveRider GR16 was bonkers, an Electribe 2 on steroids. This one is out the roof.
I just wish someone would make a hardware version :))
Or an Arduino dedicated controller
Cool. Can you point me to where I can find his address?
Thank you so much for doing this!

Ok but where’s Fabio 2?
Big update yesterday!
The mono flanger I asked for was added! Along with some other effects, acid pattern generator, per step automation, and more!
last time when i’ve seen Jim he told me a bit about his plans.
we’re going to get iPhone version and multicore support in some reasonable future.
user manual is updated to GR2 version 1.2.4
as always:
1.2.4 was released just a week ago — and here we go again!

Added:
Note chopping function added in the Note Editor. Select note(s) and move the “Chop” dragger. Selected note(s) will be split into a number of equal pieces. Hold SHIFT while moving for the numbers of power of two. Very useful for polyrhythmic tricks.
Note warping function added in the Note Editor. Works on a selected row of notes (e.g. on a drum fill), changes notes timing by creating smooth acceleration or deceleration. Select a row of notes, then hold down SHIFT (“Chop” dragger will turn into a “Warp”) and then move the “Warp” dragger up for acceleration or down for deceleration.
Chop to Grid: new function added in the Note Editor’s operations menu. It chops selected note(s) into smaller parts using current Grid Snap setting.
Halve and Double note timing functions in the Note Editor are now automatically modifying clip’s loop range, if no notes were selected before the operation.
m4a sample format support added (for internal Sampler)
Fixed:
Hi! I want to use GR2 with my DNII. ¿Does it have midi channel-per-pad feature, like Battalion, for example? Crucial for parameter midi control from the DN.
Thanks!
Getting back into this now but am really hamstrung by the mid 80s level sample editing. No zero cross, no crossfade. I spend more time searching for a looping point than I do making music. Hopefully that’ll improve in the future.
Can you add koala as an AU?
Yeah, or other samplers. But I’d rather keep it all in app.
Yes, can add koala as part layer,
can even add some other auv3 before it to sequence it and print the midi to a clip later
