Grid Recording and Chromatic Mode

been trying to sequence steps chromatically using grid recording rather than live, but it doesn’t seem to work for me. manual says whatever pad is currently pressed will be assigned to whatever trigs you sequence, but the chromatic note values are not stored and these trigs just play the sound as they usually would. am i missing something?

turn on AR

mute nothing

set tempo =120

load kit = 30 stoned

select pad HT 8 = track + pad HT 8

hit chromatic mode = all things go blue (yay!!)

press the up button couple of times till everything goes yellow

hit record = red light on

press button 1 on the sequencer HOLD button press Pad CB 12 AT THE SAME TIME

let go of everyting

press trig 5 on sequencer AND AT THE SAME TIME PRESS AAAAAND HOLD BD1 … let go of everything

press the down button till every thing is blue

press button 9on sequencer hit PAD BT 5 at the same time

let go of everything

let go of evrything

press play

learned this today in our bautiful forum in antother thread (a hijacked one acutally :wink: love this place!
