Good tabletop rack solution for elektron devices

Hi there,

I am looking for a tabletop rack solution to fit in two elektron devices like the a4 and the octatrack. I found this link here but don’t know wether this solution here is working for travelling. I don’t what exact rack type this is and if it still fits a cover to keep it safe while travelling.

I would be glad for any hint!

Thanks,
Laurentius

Hi!

Just as an option, I want to show my solution to this. I have an A4 at the moment and are waiting for an OT to arrive in next week.

So the plan is that the OT will take place where I have my blofeld, and the blofeld will move to stay on top of the 4U desktop rack. I have measured and I will be able to see the to elektron units completely with no overlapping. If you are interested I will post a new picture when the OT arrives!

The desk racks and drawers is from thomann.

I kind of like this setup since it saves a lot of desk space and also keeps dust way. It fits 2x4U synths in only 4U of hight. Its even room to put some support at the back of the unit to get a slight forward tilt.

dammit, i missed out on the travelling part :zonked:.
Then maybe a Watson eit1 and a pelican case would be a solution.

i think this can fit 2 units - I also reccommend using angled jacks

Eit-1 by Watson is the most expensive, but the most robust and aesthetically pleasing. It even gives you and handle to lift/carry when it folds down. A great piece of design!
