Good mixer with individual outs post eq?

Hi

I have a few questions…

I’m possibly looking for a good sounding mixer with around 12-16 channels that has a good quality eqs and individual outs for each (or most) of the channels. This is to then feed into a rme ufx - so the mixer can just be a mixer no usb / firewire required.

I actually have a mackie 1620i which I have decided to trade off for the ufx. But I know I will miss the eqS of the mackie. its a shame that the 1620i channel insert jacks are pre eq not post, otherwise it would still suit.

Which leads to my second question for anyone that has used both the onyx series and rme totalmix… Is the dsp eqs in totalmix comparable / better / worse than mackie eqs

Any ideas?

A&H Zed 14 has 6 channel inserts… Zed 18 has 10 channel inserts then there are the Mix Wizard series with more features but more $$…

The inserts are pre EQ…

Insert Jack Socket
Standard 1/4” (6.25mm) Jack socket for unbalanced insert send and
return signals. Wired Tip=send, Ring=return, Sleeve=Chassis.
Nominal level is 0dBu. The insert point is after the 100Hz filter and
before the EQ.

i like the soundcraft M-12

direct out on all channels
four sends
four stereo returns
fully analog no fx

Cool thanks for the responses…
