So the global slot number has brackets around it and I can’t seem to change the slot. If i do it just jumps back to (1). Is this a bug ? It’s no biggie just curious if this is normal behaviour.
Hold Fn + Global, if you only see one project you need to create a new one, otherwise select from there !
[SORRY] realised straight away you meant Global aot Project, doh !
Agreed - looks dodgy !!!
I’m wondering if its the case that the new project system replaces the need for separate globals? It’s not a feature I ever use I just noticed as I was having problems getting the A4 to respond to program changes.
Are you hooked to an OT or other gear externally - that causes my issue, I think. There are a few known issues when you are synced up to an OT, like you can’t undo a clear pattern !
I am hooked up to the OT. I didn’t realise you couldn’t use undo. I just cleared a pattern and tried undo and as you said it didn’t work. Is that a new bug with 1.1?
I unplugged the OT and it let me change the global slot. Interesting. Any ideas about pattern changes? I used to work before. In fact when I first got the A4 I had to turn that off because I was using random patterns (before the plus drive).

it’s something that may be fixed in future, but it’s a consequence of the way the edit buffer is handled when the A4 syncs to clock, if there’s any fluctuations it clears the buffer so you can’t undo - there are obviously a few other areas similarly affected by the reception of clock - this seems to be one - we’ll let you write in the bug report as you found it !
