Glitch on display, should I worry?

Hi,

When starting my OT this morning there was a noticeable glitch on the startup screen and then the next screen was a mixture of graphics from diverse screens.

After a power recycle all got just fine.

Should I worry about this?

My OT Mk1 has done this twice during its lifetime. In both cases (once under warranty repair, once by me) it was resolved by ensuring that the ribbon cables between the circuit boards are firmly connected.

Hi Peter,

The problem resolved by itself just by power recycling, after that I restarted several times and all worked just fine so far.

Nice to hear that ribbons can be the cause of this. I’ll take that in mind if this happens while on the road.

I was worry about this being a symptom of something worst that could eventually occur.

I had the same issue, I was able to fix it by pressing the connecting ribbon cables between the 2 boards inside for a firm connection, now everything working great again!

i did the same thing on my MK1 years ago and this worked.
