hello,
Can you recommend a bag that is perfect for taking the dn1 on a trip?
I’d like something lightweight and compact that can hold a 20000mah mobile battery and a cable.

This one has come up recently. It’s not made for instruments so you still want to be cautious, but looks like a good value and is the perfect size. Pretty good option unless you wanted a hard case instead (more expensive, larger).

I use the analog cases octatrack pulse case for everything. the OT version has foam in the top, with a decksaver it’s a compression fit, nothing can move around, lots of space for power and cables and stuff. OT version has he/him zipper/handle too

Yes, but not with foam like the analog cases. Those ones are made for musical instruments, this is like a padded lunch bag. It’s a nice inexpensive option, depends on how much you intended to spend and how you’ll be traveling.

But I would go for the one from Elektron:

Got one myself, and will buy another one because I have 3 devices now.

I’m using it with the Decksaver covers attached, and they fit really nice. There’s a separate compartment for storing cables and PSU, which could be a little bigger, so I would use the spare space in the second bag for that.
