Chances are he lifted if from a music store. I’d ask to open it up in front of him, and if all is in good working order, give him the money. However, one of my students got ripped of by buying something sealed, opened up to see a rock was in the box. Learned a hard lesson that day. You know what they say though, if it smells like shit, walks like shit, and taste like shit…that’s not how it goes.
