Generating midi/audio click/trigger tracks?

Hi all.

I have an mbasee2 I’m currently trying to work out a way to trigger in my setup. I don’t have any gear with trigger outs and I’ve not yet brought the ot into the studio (still learning) what would be nice would be some type of thingymibob that can recieve midi on a channel and spit out an audio bleep of some sort? Is there something relatively inexpensive that can do this? I had thought a volca would be easy but it there a cheaper way?

If you’re generating MIDI, why not use that directly to trigger the Mbase 2?

That would be perfect. As far as I know the Mbase is triggered by trigger input not midi. There is a midi port and a trigger port? Bing I just had a light bulb moment. I can send a message on the corresponding midi channel and realistically the Mbase should be triggered!!! I will try this out.
