Looks pretty amazing, has me tempted to move a few big ticket items to free up the funds. Also it is blue. The sound cloud demos sound really great.

I don’t think I could ever be down for a matrix that uses physical pins like that.
But that is one sexy synthesizer.
The demo’s sounds really nice!
I use their Fil4 Timbral Sculptor filter, sounds great and very easy to get into weird and aggressive territory.
Woohoooooo thanks for the post! Sticking my head in to say hi if anyone has any questions etc. etc.
I’d love to hear about some of the design choices you made on it… seems synthi inspired to a point and then it diverges, more cv modulation, less ringmod? Seems impressive.
Finally found a new synth. Great.
@futureimage, looks like so much fun and the design is plain, clean, without visual distractions, no overly bright leds. Congratulations.
Looks amazing!! Will it be 19" rackmount-able?
Sadly it became wider than 19” a couple of years back! The plan originally was to aim for rack mountability, but the spacing of the controls was simply too cramped.
Looks to be a really fun and exciting piece of kit. Nice job!
So the oscillator setup is more or less similar to the recombination engine module, right?
Very nice, was always tempted by that module when I was a crackhead.
That plus one of your filters, four function generators and a pretty comprehensive matrix makes this a serious bit of kit. So many opportunities to introduce feedback into the system too. This is the sort of innovation I’m into.
I like it.
Can’t afford it, but I like it.
Digging the demos on this one.
I love my FIL4 and use it all the time. I haven’t been using my Recombination Engine as much as I should though. This is inspiration to circle back to that module!
It’s beautiful.
Yep, the VCO section is arranged like the Recombination Engine, but tightened up and made even more “linear” by the use of SSI2131s rather than CEM3340s.
The design decisions really were me asking myself “what do I want from an analogue synth?”
The main EMS / Synthi influence is in the pin matrix, and even then, it’s quite a different arrangement. Cric’s is fully buffered/active, signal levels are kept to a specific scheme, there are no differences between pins, you won’t have anything “surprising” happen by mixing and splitting different sources.
The ring mod question appeared elsewhere - whilst there’s no dedicated RM, there’s a VCA on many of the sources, so plenty of scope for amplitude modulation. I realise it isn’t exactly the same thing, but there’s plenty in this that will get close
Looking forward to checking this out at Machina Bristronica!
Machina Bristronica ( thread )
Very impressive looking synth, I like the visual design loads better than Synthi or Syntrx. More importantly, the oscillators/filters sounded excellent in that demo. And I like the array of options in the matrix and with ins/outs. Definitely a desirable instrument!
Didn’t really need this appearing just after I’ve decided to get rid of all my hardware.
I really thought Cherry Audio finally doing a decent Polivoks VST would be the end of me wanting “proper” synths.
But now this…
It’s gonna take a while to save up for it cos I’ve just bought a new car, but I can definitely see me owning one of these in a year or two.
The things I could do with those oscillators and a bit of feedback…
Best of luck with this @futureimage, it deserves to sell very well.
Damn it, this looks sexy as hell! Sounds epic too! Maybe next year! I thought I achieved gear nirvana and no gas, nooooooo.
Congratulations, it looks fantastic!
Will there be a manual?
I would love to nerd for a bit
ps: is the release on schedule?
