Future Megacommand Use?

Is there any technical reason why a MC can’t be coded to use with a Monomachine to add conditional triggers and Microtiming? Are we just hoping that some coding wizz can figure it out or does the MnM architecture make it impossible?

Not really the place to talk about it as it’s non elektron affiliated. There is the MCL discord if you can access.

Currently there is an unofficial mnm X OS that includes updated sysex function, so when connected to MCL the mnm tracks (sequence and track data) are storable on (and recallable from) MCL’s Y grid slots via the 6 EXT tracks.
This allows for remote mute control from MD interface, slot chaining and (i think) editing the sequence data with conditionals, varying track lengths and mt via MCLs EXT track page interface on the MD, which is an innovation in itself. (need to fact check this, as when you save it may overwrite with MnMs pattern data…)

The MnM X OS is in beta stage and doesn’t feature the full UI MCL integration of the MD X OS. Yet.

I’ve got no comment on if and when the [redacted] devs will approach this. people have lives and untangling ye olde Swedish firmwares takes time.
