Since two days the shortcut for a new chain has stopped working for me. I gues i am missing something but am unable to find out what it is. Does anyone have an advise?
Btw i discovered that holding [Chain Mode] on the rytm while in Mute mode triggers some other kind of mute mode. Anyone knows what this is?

If i understand what you are saying,
The second mute mode is to be used when playing a song or sequence… then you can setup a song that has the same pattern repeated various times but with different tracks muted or un-mutes.
About the new chain, i don’t know what your problem is, i think you can also do this with function+Yes when in Song mode.
I think if you read the part on Songs and Chains of the manual you will get the picture.
As i said, ive been missing something. And that was that each time you press function + chain for a new chain, this new chain gets inserted into the song until the limit of chains is reached. Then the combination will not work anymore until you remove chains from the song. Really kind of annoying.
Btw what i find also annoying is that function + chain restarts the sequencer immediately, bringing the machine out of sync instead of continuing to play the current pattern.
