Hello A4 family!!
I just got a second hand A4 1.03 version and can’t upgrade to the new OS.
Everything seems to work fine but it gets frozen while receiving.
I’m doing it from the global menu not from the Early startup menu, and have tried several times… the funny thing is that each time I’m trying it the progress bar in the machine is filling up less and less (I don’t know if I made myself clear here…)
Any help would be much appreciated.
USB or Midi ? USB preferable, try 1.06 first if you can find although I think this should not matter. Are you using C6 and do other Sysex transactions work smoothly ?
Make sure you close any other programs on your computer that may have midi ports open. I have found this to cause problems (windows OS). Also make sure you are using the latest C6. A factory reset before sending the upgrade “may” also help.

I have upgraded successfully already but with my laptop computer.
Strange that using Usb, latest version of C6, on a Mac Mini with 10.9 OS version it’s not working, but on a mackbock pro 10.6 version it worked perfectly.
