Free Multisamples for Tonverk

I agree to find inspiration making multisamples from my own synths ( small collection). And also would be nice to have some multis other synths( that i don’t have) , like 0-Coast or Behringer Neutron

I don’t know for others, I myself try to do my music the most personal, and hope you can see that in the multiple exemples I put in Elektronauts. And I’m 100% for using personal sounds for my art. That said, I’m also for sharing multisamples, and in Tonverk there are lots of ways of transforming those to something new. Why people is using 909 or 808 same sounds always? Why so much people wants the new Roland with all those iterations already known and millions times heard? Why using presets from others? I can imagine different reasons. And using a Rhodes multisample is not really coping / buying patreons samplepacks to use on a repeated genrelike song…I would just have inside my Tonverk this sound that I can’t have at home.

Also, sharing in this world is nice.

I didn’t know Midori Takada, thanks for the discovery!

i wasnt trying to direct that to you specifically. just ranting/venting

i understand. i do think there is value in limiting yourself to your own sounds, but i also have a lot of weird self imposed boundaries about originality in art and what makes something creative pure or worthwhile.

however, i also get that sometimes you want a nice rhodes piano. so multisamples arent really in the same category as like a loop pack or something like that. its more like an instrument or preset. so i guess my grumpy boomer rant doesnt really even apply here

but yea, the big picture here is that you can get so much use out of turning monosynths into poly voices via multisampling. i had such great results with autosampling my 2600 patches on the bento

All good, not taking personal, just trying to give an other perspective. Agree with you, I often prefers when I listen to something inherently personal ( can be sound but also photo, dance…yes, art…). Not too much imposed boundaries for me, just self respect in my art and following my own flow/voice. Thanks for your reflections.

Thanks for sharing. Were you able to get this to work?

I tried translating it with the Multisample Architect tool, and while it created a multisample instrument, only a few keys sound at full velocity—many others are very very faint…

Hola David! I’ve tried it now and find a lot of notes that indeed, doesn’t play good… you can try maybe this one, I’ve checked the wav. It seems all good with 4 layers velocity, but I don’t know yet how to prepared this velocity layers in MultisampleArchitect.
