I’m looking for a new audiointerface with 8 Inputs and low latency. I end up with the Scarlett 18i8 2nd gen. But i’m unsure if Saffire pro 40 would be the better choice? People say the audioquality is the same. Same PreAmps, etc.
What do you think.
Is Firewire + Workhorse (people) say the better choice?
Or is it save to go for the USB version? I really cant find much reviews on the 2nd gen of the scarlett. Especially if its a reliable workhorse than the old saffire …
