FMR RNLA owners, could you confirm that mine is faulty please?

Hi,

I got a faulty RNLA from Thomann, the buttons do not work under these conditions:

  1. Turn the threshold parameter down (all the way anti-clockwise).
  2. Send sound with lots of gain into the inputs, making all the red “gain reduction” lights light up.
  3. As sound is still running through it, pressing each button, the “Log Rel” and “Bypass” to see if they both work every time.

You should hear a click and the button’s light turning off/on every time without fail.

I sent it back to Thomann with this video below. FMR confirmed that it’s NOT normal behaviour, whereas Thomann has said that they can’t reproduce the fault and that I have 2 options: take store credit or get the same unit back.

Would you mind giving this a go please, and showing me that you can do this and have the buttons still work?
