Knobs and buttons look similar but the Nopia definitely looks more home-grown.

Its the things you mention. A retro look. Less menus and simple. Very easy on the eye with colors as well. They look roughly the same size as well. The Orchid has this approach as well. Love Hulten who crafts bespoke synthesizers gets the aesthetic appeal as well it seems.

Im wanting the Nopia as well as im buying into all of this.

I think the Flexur T2 could stand as a controller all on it’s own with key and scale selection.

I’d prefer it to the Aodyo Loom if you’d add some of that functionality too. X, Y, and Z axis.

Oh, I didn’t know about the Loom! It looks interesting too. Compared to the Flexur T2, the Loom doesn’t looks as exciting. But I suppose it will be a lot cheaper to produce (and buy). I also prefer a European product. The question is how they will compare, playing-wise.

Most synth patches will have robotically consistent amplitude for every note, which is why distortion feels static and not alive like it does on guitar.
