Hi
Why is not possible to record on another buffer with rec trig ? Only T2 on buffer 2 recording.
In combo rec, it works but another bug with that)
Cheers

Recorder trigs relate to the track recorder for that track, and only that track .
This applies to any of the 8 recorder tracks.
However the recording source for any track recorder can be anything you want. Regardless of what is happening on any other track.
Flex machines (or any other machines) loaded on to any other track are irrelevant, since they too are indépendant of track recorders (including the recorder trigs)
Combo Rec records INAB, INCD and SRC3.
If you want to trigger several buffers recordings with 1 button, you can use one shot rec trigs, and YES to arm them all (Grid recording off iirc).
I want to record a 28 step part from T2: part 1: buffer 1.
When mode song change pattern, record a 32 part from T2: part 2: buffer 2.
This only works With combo rec but when the pattern change, combo rec on part 2 start on the middle of pattern.
The best choice is record trig but only buffer 2 on T2.
Cheers
So @Djib did you find out ?
Not sure to get what you want…
It is possible to put a rec trig on buffer 1 and play it on track 2.
Triggered with midi ?
What is QREC value ?
I just tested, flex track on T2, src buffer 3, trig record on T2, trig play on T3. Result: No recording.
I start recording with arm record on T2.
QREC Plen.
The idea is to be able to sample my guitar always on the T2 track so as not to change the selection while I play.
I have a verse on a pattern, I sample the first loop on T2 buffer 2 (it works here since buffer 2)
The song mode changes pattern and I want to record a new T2 buffer 3 loop, so as not to lose the first loop and so that I can then return to the verse and launch my first loop already recorded on buffer 2.
Are you trying to switch which buffer the track points to when you change patterns? I think you’ll need to use a different Part for that.
Part 1 - T2 points to Buffer 2
Part 2 - T2 points to Buffer 3
Then Pattern 1 uses Part 1, Pattern 2 uses Part 2.
No recording (+), or no playback of the recording ?
Apparently some confusion, or a confusing way to write it.
Buffer 3 can’t be an SRC3 source.
Tracks T1-T8, MAIN, CUE can be recording sources.
Buffers can be recorded with rec trigs on their respective tracks, in REC SETUP 1/2 (or recorded triggered manually, or with external midi)
You can playback any buffer on FLEX tracks.
Tu as raison, j’ai bien le (+) mais rien dans l’AED. Effectivement, je ne vois que ça: un rec trig ne peut que enregistrer sur sa track respective… quel dommage !
You’re right, I have the (+) but nothing in the AED. Indeed, that’s all I see: a rect trigger can only record on its respective track… what a shame!
Why not place the record trig on the record buffer’s track?
this is because I don’t want to select another track while playing guitar. I did that at first but in concert it’s hell!
Not a problem, as it can record any source.
Then you have to select the right buffer (Recording 1-8) to play with a Flex.
