Flex machine acting like pickup when using MIDI - MKi bug?

Sorry for the neophyte question, but I’ve combed this and other forums with no answers. I’ve been using my OT (MKi) for only a few weeks and have recently integrated it into my live setup. Right now I’m using my Electribe ESX (heh) as a master clock, as it has a huge sample/pattern library I have built up over the years. My MIDI sequence is as follows: ESX out -> OT in; OT out -> Yamaha DX200; OT thru -> Cyclone TT303. I’m only sending clock data to the machines; I’m not sequencing anything off-board with the OT at present. Clock data sends fine. All the machines on my OT project are flex machines; living on my T4 flex machine is a sampled drum loop I’ve chopped into slices. I have the slices triggering in a sequence, etc. Here’s where the problem begins. When I connected everything via MIDI and pressed play, track 4 played fine for a few minutes, then stopped playing and the symbol next to its LED on the screen turned into a plus sign, then a play sign, then back. AFAIK from reading the manual and forums, the only way a plus sign would be there is if the track is sampling from external ins (I don’t have anything connected to AB/CD) or if it’s a pickup borrowing from a neighboring track. As neither of those things is the case, I’m wondering what could be going on here. I’ve made sure there’s no MIDI transmitting from any of the tracks and that my global midi settings are appropriate. Thanks for any help you wise people can provide!

Be careful with the notes you send to Ot :

Oh man, of course! I was sending notes to OT from a muted ESX synth track. Thanks for the kind response, sezare56. Mod, feel free to deactivate this topic if appropriate.
