Fisound OVRDrive update!

fisound just updated their OVRDrive pack for the A4. I had bought it before the update when it contained 128 patches, but now it got upgraded to 200 patches.

All patches are nicely tagged and all the new ones were built specifically with the new OS in mind (think reso boost).

It was already a very nicely built collection with a lot of variation, now it just got so much better! For the price tag I think it’s more than worth it!

I have also bought this before. Is it free to update and how does it work to download the sounds without purchasing once again?

You should have got a mail from them, I did. You can use the same link you had received on your original purchase or ask them to send it to you again.

If the original patches are already installed, will the update know to overwrite these or will it add the sounds to an additional sound bank?

Importing the new SysEx files will not overwrite the older Sounds.

If you prefer not to have duplicate sounds and don’t have any saved tweaks. Your best method may be to use the Sound Manager and select all the old Sounds and Delete. Then import the new SysEx file.
