Finally landed on planet Elektron : )

Hi folks

just wanted to share my setup. It was a long journey. Had a digitakt before, switched to MPC, back to DAW only and was always missing buttons and workflow of the Elektron boxes.

Finally I setup this wagon and it’s a pure joy.

It consists of Yamaha speaker, Fostex subwoofer, Digitone, Digitakt II, Tascam X6 as mic, Arturia Keylab 61 keyboard, Audeze LCD-X headphones and a bunch of cables. The wagon is the 900 Wavebone.

Greetings from Switzerland

John

I wonder if a TEO-5 would fit on that wagon

Nice little setup.

Welcome to the planet, and to the forum! What a cool setup, I’ve never played Elektron boxes with external keyboards. I bet the DT is a very different experience when you have keys controlling it.

Welcome - and that’s a great setup!

My top tip… add a Syntakt to the mix and complete the ‘dark trinity’. Syntakt loops resampled into Digitakt and then mangled is a ton of fun on the original Digitakt, and will be even more fun in stereo on the DT2.

Even better, chaining audio from DN into DT then DT into ST - and routing the external inputs on the ST to the ST FX track - opens up a whole world of sonic madness, the ST FX track is awesome.

Sorry… you’ve only just arrived and here am I encouraging you to spend even more money on Elektron products…
