Finally got my DT2

Finally got my DT2 and I have some thoughts…

So to my ears the SSR and sample tuning are much improved from the DT. I know we can debate effects all damn day but to me the SSR provides a lot of character without being overly harsh and the tune slides sign a lot better.

It’s nice that I’m able to just reload my projects and I’m certianly not going to complain about the transfer rates (they seem the same to me IMHO) but like, when I reload my old samples that are in neat folders they just get put into one “transfer” folder? Cause that’s lame.

On the DT1 I used to do this thing with the audio routing where you could to the pattern menu and make the audio routing pattern specific so you could have a fully wet reverb track and that no longer seems like an option. Like, there is no audio routing section in the pattern menu. Is that gone? No I will not read the manual.

It is in the Audio Routing menu, see manual.
Edit : my bad, see below…

Pitch +5/-5 octaves for DT2, vs +2/-5 for DT.
Concerning SRR, I am bot sure, IIRC Elektron talked about BRR “improvement”…

That’s right, there is not currently an Audio Routing option inside the pattern menu like on DT1 and Syntakt, just the global one. I’ve got my fingers crossed this will return, I like processing full wet tracks this way, too.

Thanks for clarifying, it didn’t remember that menu on DT1, thought it was global only.
(And my ST need a repair, power socket brocken, fingers crossed)
From DT1 manual :
