I can’t seem to get the filter envelope to trigger consistently on tracks with two sounds. The envelope is ok if just one sound is being triggered, but if I trigger both either alternately or simultaneously, say every step on CH and 3,7,11,15 on OH, I get an odd pattern of the CH filter envelope only triggering only on some of the steps 4,8,12,16. Which hits actually open the filter seems to depend on the BPM. This occurs standalone or slaved
Even stranger, this only occurs with swing set to 50%. If its any other value it works fine. Any ideas why this happens?
Some envelopes start from where the last one was at time of new start, so not necessarily from zero. Can’t recall if one or both AR envs work this way, ie not starting from zero
I did explore the amplitude ADSR and was puzzled why it doesn’t always trigger from zero. It would be preferable to have the option to start from zero, but it at least sounds consistent. I guess you could argue zero starting is undesirable since it could cause sounds to be cut short with a click.
However, the problem with the filter only happens on swing 50%., and seems fairly random. the filter envelope doesn’t seem to trigger at all, it doesn’t start adding to the last envelope, it just drops off like it isn’t triggered. this only happens the first trig after the other sound is triggered. I don’t seem to get any inconsistency when p-locking a filter on one sound.
