I seem to be unable to find out if there is a midi control for fill mode on the Digitone2
Anybody help?
Hey, since it’s not listed in the midi implementation chart, then it’s probably tied to the button press which triggers the fill condition. As far as I know there is no public sysex for the digi devices and I think that would be the only way to express the commands for press and release of a button from an external controller.
The simple answer is that you can’t do it. But you never know, maybe someone has figured out a way and will comment about it. You could also hook your digitone II up to a midi monitor and see if there is any data sent when you physically trigger the button for fill, not even with the pattern playing, I think if it generates any midi then you’d be able to read it, just like when using the trigs as a midi controller it sends information about pitch and duration, if fill produces any midi you would probably be able to read it. So you could try that at least.
