File folder for recorded samples

Hi, im new with octatrack. If i make a save copy od my new recorded sample it seems to be not possible to choose a relevant folder in the audio pool to store to. It will be stored to the root of the audio pool. This is strange for me? Do i overlook something?

You can’t select a specific folder. Their is another option in PERSONALIZE menu :
SAVE SAMPLES TO : PROJect DIRectory. Default is AUDIO POOL.

Does it have a specific reason for what you can take advantage? How can i manage the thousands samples in a year? Manually ? And reassign ? Bravo!!!

Yes. That way you record more carefully and you don’t have to manage thousands samples every year !

feature-request@elektron.se

Workaround : use a computer to manage your thousands samples, or if you’re patient use OT file manager.

You can use a specific project for recordings, create sub folder in it.

I read on the OVP: elektron Octatrac is MORE THAN A SAMPLER So i expect a wonderful filemanagement STATE of the ART and not like WIN 1995.
