Hi, first post on the forum so please be gentle with me
Disclaimer: I’m total noobster when it comes to Elektron gear and its workflow, so sorry about stupid questions and incorrect assumptions!
Q1: I received my DT2 and ST few weeks a go, and I set them up so that ST receives midi from DT2, and DT2 receives audio from ST. And everything works just fine. You can probably imagine that during these past weeks, I have created the new project several times, because it looks like someone is messing up the project so that I can’t understand what is doing what, and why. I noticed that whenever I create new project, I need to perform the midi sync and audio setup again. Question: is there a way to configure midi and audio so that whenever I create new project, those settings would be used?
Q2: Is there a way to modulate pitch/tone so that its quantized? Using LFO? I know that I can do parameter locks but it would be nice if I could do it with LFO and thus achieve some kind of random/generative tones.
Q3: And the last one, for now… Is this by design, or is it a bug? I tired to create chord track that is four step/trig long, and make it so that if the first trig is played, rest 3 are also played: I modified trig 2…4 (= parameter lock) so that their condition is PREV (= play only if previous trig was played?) and left the first one as its default value. I assumed that this way I can control the probability from the track level. I set the track probability to 50% and yes, first trig is played occasionally, but the reaming step are not played. Only way to active the last trigs, is to set parameter lock for the condition in the first step and set it to 50% Is this the way it should work?
Sorry for the long…ish post.
Cheers
