So I couldn’t seem to get the filter section to do anything, maybe I’m missing something, do you need an account for it to work?

To be able to use the filter, you actually have to create an account.
Fortunately, this is free and permanent.

Above all, being able to search roughly by genre or specifically by pitch and especially style (there are really many) and being able to specify the speed makes it super helpful.
