This is the most amazing thing I’ve seen on the internet for ages. Thanks for sharing x
For my first DT groove I used my iphone6 with the Fieldscaper app and recorded my finger hitting a bunch of retired drums in my buddy’s shed. I then played that sample file into the DT recorder and it sounds great!
Probably well known to most folks here, but this is a handy list http://www.factmag.com/2017/03/25/best-free-sample-packs-download/
Edit: Great thread btw. Thanks.
Here is a great source for listening to shortwave - note, you can record and download .wav files of your explorations.

Here is an additional resource of internet receivers for your consideration.
Recordings of Number Stations (the Conet Project).
Here is one that is a world sampler (of musics)…

And there is Freesound.org…

And, finally…
I didn’t add any of the normal loops and sample sites on purpose lol.
Hardware come and go but samples are forever. Here’s some of mine:
Analog Rytm Samples
49 samples from the Analog Rytm in 24bit 48kHz mono. Effects and compressor of the Analog Rytm was bypassed.

Analog Four Samples
It’s 7 kicks, 4 snares, one clap and a little hithat… Sample format is 24 bit mono 48kHz. Just a little taste, great machine for drums and percussion.

Softube HeartBeat - Software VA, really good, kind of strange there’s not more buzz about this plug-in.
23 samples, mostly kicks but also some snares and hihats. Sample format is 24 bit mono 48kHz.

I appreciate this!
Thank you for sharing!!
I creatief inf. Reverb sounds, recorded them and layered them under some sounds (like under the kick), changed my sound completely… didnt expect the impact, really nice
Splice Sounds is a subscription service where you get X credits per month (with rollover for unused) to DL samples. Great service and is perfect for random or odd one shots where you wouldn’t necessarily want to spend $20-50 on a pack only to use a few sounds.
Ive got some aiff files from ableton oacks that i want to upload. However the dt doesnt accept this. Any ideas?
Ableton pack aiffs are copy projected, you’d have to record into another audio track and split, which would result in regular aiffs.
Ah i see. So much work! Haha
Thanks mate
