I wish there would be an option to set track volumes to be global and ignore/don’t update on pattern changes.
It would be very useful for live sets. You would be able to control the mixer inside the machines completely manually and perform with it.
The mixers inside Elektron machines are great. Individual tracks, effect sends, panning, ext. in… How awesome would it be to just connect a midi controller (like the Launchcontrol) and control the mixer like a hardware mixer.
The faders & knobs of the controller would always represent the current mixer values.

Here is an example image how a midi controller could control the mixer parameters of an Elektron machine. Unfortunately right now all knob and fader positions are invalid after pattern changes and the parameters jump to new values.
**Two ideas how to implement global / pattern independent parameters **
1.
The user could switch specific parameters to global/independent via a button combination + parameter knob.
Here is a graphic how global parameters could be visualized (and how it compares to how parameter locks are displayed)
Advantage of this implementation would be, that users can freely decide what parameters they want to set global: One user might only want to control track volumes manually, another also sends and filter cutoff.
2.
Not so flexible, but maybe simpler. Have a system setting:
Global parameter
Track volume: On / Off
Effect Send: On / Off
